Portofino - Castello Brown (Portofino)
Surrounded by a mediterranean garden, Castello Brown owes its name to the British consul Sir Montague Yeats Brown, which bought it in 1870 when the fortress was turned from a militarized bulwark to a residential mansion. The Municipality of Portofino is the owner of the castle since 1961, today it houses the offices of the Marine Park. - See the Portofino map with a complete picture set.
