The church of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia 'Saint Margaret of Antioch' was buit in 1318 in Ligurian Gothic style. Expanded between 1500 and 1600. It stands on a cliff overlooking the sea protected by a row of rocks. According to an old legend, along the coast it was found a box of finger bones of Santa Margherita. The people built a church in honor of the Saint in the Isolotto district. But then for a strong rough sea, the relic disappeared and reappeared later in the same place where it was found the first time.
