Christmas at Cinque Terre: the boater who comes from the sea from December 8 to January 28 can enjoy a unique spectacle. A huge Nativity Scene composed of 240 statues, natural size, illuminated by more than 15,000 multicoloured light bulbs, and that extends on the hill of the Three Crosses of Manarola. The idea of this artwork was by Mario Andreoli that with recycled materials built the characters typical of the Nativity Scene, then the illumination with bulbs connected one another by 24 electrical lines long 8 km in total.
